BUSY HELPING
YOU PROCESS WASTE FOOD

Here at BEE we believe in making cost effective solutions to many of the issues surrounding the handling and processing of waste food products in an era when sustainability and greater renewable energy production become ever more important.

SPECIALIST DE-PACKAGING & CROP MULCHING EQUIPMENT

We manufacture, install and support a range of De-packaging Equipment, and have developed a unique range of machinery to crush/pulp and breakdown crop and vegetable products for easier use in animal feed and Anaerobic Digestion plants.

Anaerobic Digestion

Anaerobic Digestion is a main destination for food waste but the product often requires de-packaging. Our range of specially designed equipment can remove all types of packaging with very high percentage success rates.

One Earth to Protect

BEE Environmental Engineering are dedicated to supplying purpose made equipment to help impact the food waste market for the environment.

De-packaging equipment is the key to unlock the barrier presented by food waste packaging

"The expansion of the organics recycling industry to provide additional capacity for processing separately collected food waste is expected to play a significant role in achieving the landfill directive targets.

However the presence of packaging materials in food waste feedstocks, particularly those collected from food manufacturers or retailers, contaminates the feedstocks mainly with plastics, but also with paper, card, cans and glass, which is also considered to be a particular problem for ‘wet’ AD systems, where the plastics materials will form a ‘floating layer’ on the surface of the wet digestate and result in process difficulties associated with trapped gases and flow blockages."
